Abstract
This action research examines the recurring flooding challenges at San Antonio Elementary School in San Pascual, Batangas, where stagnant water disrupts learning and poses health risks. Through surveys, records, and environmental data, the study identified key causes, including clogged drainage, the school’s low-lying location, and runoff from nearby areas. It then proposed five integrated solutions: raised pathways, improved drainage, eco-friendly infrastructure, rainwater catchment, and stronger community partnerships. Findings highlighted strong stakeholder support for sustainable, long-term measures. Overall, the study highlights the importance of holistic, climate-resilient interventions to ensure safe and sustainable learning environments.
