One by one, wooden boats leave the shore, gliding across calm waters as the first streaks of sunlight paint the horizon with shades of gold. To most people, this is the familiar picture of the fishing industry. The men are often seen as its face. Men are the ones who brave the waves, cast their nets, and return with baskets heavy with the day's catch.
