Description
Many individuals in the Philippines are starting to distrust the honesty of government contracts and bidding processes due to the growth of "ghost projects" and other unusual occurrences involving infrastructure. These procedures were implemented to ensure that everyone was held accountable and that taxpayer money was used efficiently and correctly. The mechanism designed to prevent corruption has actually made it easier for it to occur. Some people who distrust the government entirely are concerned that they can't trust these formal groups.
