Description
There was once a lighthouse on the edge of the sea where the cliffs were too sharp for ships to forgive. Every night, an old man named Elias climbed one hundred and forty-three steps to light the great lantern. Sailors never knew his face. They knew only the warm beam that cut through the darkness and carried them safely home.
