Description

The Information Technology (IT) era has brought significant transformation to human society by reshaping communication, education, work systems, and daily living. This study examines how individuals adapt to rapid digital changes and how these changes influence behavior, productivity, and social interaction. Using a descriptive approach, the paper explores both the advantages and challenges of living in a technology-driven environment. Findings reveal that information technology enhances access to information, improves communication speed, and increases efficiency in various sectors. However, it also introduces concerns such as digital dependency, misinformation, cybersecurity risks, and reduced face-to-face interaction. The study concludes that successful adaptation to the IT era requires strong digital literacy, responsible use of technology, and balanced integration of digital tools in daily life.
