Description
This paper presents a condensed integrative review of Managing Information Technology in a New Age by IBM Global Services (2000). While retaining the original structure and core arguments, the review enhances academic rigor, clarity, and relevance through the integration of contemporary literature (2020–2025). Using an integrative review approach, the paper reassesses the IBM IT Process Model within the context of modern IT governance, digital transformation, cloud computing, agile practices, and artificial intelligence. Although developed in an earlier technological era, the model’s foundational principles remain relevant when interpreted as a flexible governance and alignment framework. This review bridges historical process-based IT models with current digital enterprise practices, contributing to the literature on IT management and governance.
