Description
The Golden Ratio is a mathematical ratio that may be discovered by splitting a line segment into two so that the longer segment's ratio to the shorter segment equals the line's overall ratio to the longer segment. The ratio is approximately equal to 1.618. Using this ratio, engineers, architects, designers, and artists have produced visually appealing designs throughout history.
