Description
People in the Philippines are concerned that the taxes of government workers aren't being used effectively because the government is allegedly corrupt, with issues such as "ghost projects" and other infrastructure problems. People are worried because they believe that taxes should cover the salaries of public servants and provide them with meaningful benefits. However, since scandals occur frequently, it's fair to question whether these taxes genuinely benefit the people of the Philippines or if they are merely part of a flawed, possibly even corrupt, system.
