Description
The auditorium had long emptied by the time Liza found her daughter. Mina sat alone on the hallway floor beside a glass trophy case. Her face was illuminated by the pale glow of her phone. Beyond the corridor, echoes of celebration lingered as students laughed, coaches congratulated their teams, and parents captured moments destined for social media. Around Mina, the world continued to celebrate. Yet she remained motionless, trapped inside the relentless stream of comments beneath a video she wished she had never shared. The words on the screen were not merely opinions. They became mirrors reflecting every insecurity she had quietly carried for years. A simple mistake had become public entertainment. With every swipe, the humiliation seemed to deepen. Memories appeared permanent in the digital world, preserved through screenshots and shared endlessly by strangers who would never know the weight of their words.
