Description

Outside, the roosters had not yet finished announcing the morning, but she was already standing before a small mirror, fixing the collar of her blouse for the third time. On the bed lay a pair of black shoes bought from her first borrowed money for work, a canvas bag filled with lesson plans, and a plastic envelope containing documents she had checked again and again the night before.
