This study assessed the compliance of rural banks in the Bicol Region with the requirements of Republic Act No. 9160, as amended, while examining the risks associated with compliance, the relationship between compliance and perceived risk, the challenges encountered by rural banks, and policy measures to strengthen anti-money laundering compliance.
