Description

Morphological awareness, defined as the ability to recognize and manipulate the structure of words including roots, prefixes, and suffixes, has been increasingly recognized as a significant predictor of academic writing achievement among English as a Second Language (ESL) learners. This qualitative study explores how morphological awareness contributes to students’ writing performance in secondary ESL classrooms.
