With the proliferation of generative artificial intelligence, students are increasingly leveraging platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, NoteGPT, and Perplexity to synthesize research papers. While these tools offer efficiency, the uncritical adoption of AI-generated text threatens to erode fundamental cognitive processes and analytical rigor.
