Description

This study examined the predictive role of morphosyntactic awareness in reading comprehension achievement among English as a Second Language (ESL) learner from a cognitive-linguistic perspective. Morphosyntactic awareness refers to learners’ ability to recognize and manipulate grammatical structures, including morphology and syntax, which are essential in understanding written texts. The study aimed to determine whether morphosyntactic awareness significantly influences reading comprehension performance among ESL learners.
