Abstract This study examined the integration of traditional Filipino games into senior high school physical education (PE) curricula, focusing on how culturally fit team sports—such as Tumbang Preso, Patintero, Luksong Tinik, Palo Sebo, and Piko—improve students' health-related fitness. A mixed-methods approach, incorporating both quantitative and qualitative data, was used to assess the effectiveness of these games in enhancing cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, flexibility, and overall well-being. Data were gathered from Grade 11 TVL students at Magallanes National High School. The findings showed significant improvements in students' physical fitness, especially cardiovascular health, and a deeper understanding of the rules and objectives of each game. Students also reported enhanced engagement, social interaction, and cultural pride. The study concluded that incorporating traditional Filipino games into PE fosters physical development and promotes cultural awareness, making the PE experience more engaging, holistic, and culturally integrated. Description This study evaluated the career outcomes of Hospitality Management and Entrepreneurship graduates of Abuyog Community College from 2022 to 2025, including employability, the relevance of their knowledge and skills to their current occupation, and the challenges encountered in the job market. A survey questionnaire was used to gather data from 35 Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) and 25 Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship (BSENTREP) graduates, totaling 60. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics (frequency counts and percentages). The respondents were given a modified CHED’s survey questionnaire in a group chat through Facebook Messenger. Results showed that most respondents are employed, some working abroad; the knowledge and skills learned in college are relevant to their current occupation; they encounter high competition and limited job openings; and they have limited professional networks/connections. Based on the results of this study, the researcher highly recommends building partnerships with overseas employers and agencies to create internship and job placement pipelines, encouraging graduates to create their own ventures by offering incubation programs, seed funding opportunities, mentorship from industry experts, and integrating practical business plan development to prepare students for self-employment.

Abstract This study explored the effectiveness of digitized mathematical games in addressing the least learned competencies (LLCs) in Mathematics 4 at Daan Taligaman Elementary School. Utilizing a descriptive-evaluative research design, the study involved 24 randomly selected Grade 4 pupils. The intervention focused on two identified LLCs: measuring and constructing angles using a protractor and solving for the perimeter of composite figures. To address these gaps, interactive digitized games were developed using the Kotobee application and validated by three mathematics education experts. The materials were assessed across three dimensions content accuracy, instructional coherence, and gamification elements and received an overall weighted mean rating of 3.83, interpreted as “Very Effective. “Results showed substantial improvements in learners’ performance following the implementation of the digitized games. In solving composite figures, the proportion of pupils classified as Proficient increased from 0% to 50%, while those at the Developing level dropped from 46% to 4%. In angle measurement, the number of Proficient learners rose from 16% to 50%, accompanied by a decrease in Developing learners from 50% to 13%. Statistical analysis using paired t-tests confirmed significant learning gains, with t = 18.70 (p = .000) for composite figures and t = 16.47 (p = .000) for angle measurement. These findings demonstrate that well-designed and expert-validated gamified digital tools can effectively enhance conceptual understanding and procedural fluency. The study concludes that digitized mathematical games are powerful instructional resources for improving mathematical proficiency and addressing persistent learning gaps in elementary mathematics.
