Abstract Ang mga metapora ng Surigaonon ay isang mahalagang bahagi ng estruktura ng wika at isang salamin ng kultura ng mga tagapagsalita nito. Ang pag-aaral na ito, na pinamagatang "Pagsipat sa Surigaonon Metaphors: Isang Leksyograpikong Pag-aaral at Pagtatala ng mga Madalas Gamiting Metaporang Pambayan," ay nag-aaral at nagtatala ng mga metaporang ito. Ang layunin ng pag-aaral ay tukuyin, ilarawan, at mabigyang-kahulugan ang ilang mga metapora sa loob ng komunidad ng Surigaonon batay sa kanilang literal na anyo, matalinghagang paggamit, at kontekstuwal na pagpapakahulugan. Ang mga metapora ng bayan na karaniwang ginagamit sa pang-araw-araw na komunikasyon ay naitala at sinusuri sa pamamagitan ng dulong leksyograpiko sa pag-aaral. Ang pagsusuri ay nagpakita na ang mga metaporang Surigaonon ay may malakas na koneksyon sa kalikasan, karanasang panlipunan, kabuhayan, emosyon, at mga pagpapahalagang kultural ng pamayanan. Bilang karagdagan, ipinakita ng pag-aaral na ang mga metaporang ito ay tumutulong sa pagbibigay ng mas malalim na pag-unawa sa mga karanasan at pananaw ng mga Surigaonon tungkol sa kanilang kapaligiran at lipunan. Gayunpaman, ang pag-aaral ay nagpapakita na ang paggamit ng mga tradisyunal na metaporang Surigaonon ay unti-unting bumababa bilang resulta ng mga bagong teknolohiya, midya, at globalisasyon, lalo na sa mga kabataan. Findings of this study reveal that the respondent groups belong to the age group of 25-30 years old, female, married, obtained units in their Master’s Degree, have been linked with the institution for less than a year, have been into regional training, seminars, and workshops, and attained an N5 Japanese language proficiency. In terms of the level of implementation of special program in foreign language, the data indicates that respondents generally agree on the effective implementation of the program across several key areas: objectives, teaching-learning facilities, resources, learning competencies, and contact hours. In terms of the level of performance of the students, most of them attained mastery on recognizing Hiragana characters and identifying Katakana characters. Meanwhile, majority of them have no mastery in competencies such as vocabulary knowledge and informational retrieval. In terms of testing the relationship between the level of implementation of special program in foreign language and level of performance in reading comprehension, the result implies that the manner in which teachers implement the foreign language program has a significant impact on students' reading comprehension performance. In terms of the best practices in teaching Nihongo, the data reveals various practices that contribute to an effective language learning environment, with a focus on immersion, authentic materials, communicative approaches, and feedback mechanisms. In conclusion, the analysis demonstrates a significant correlation between the level of implementation of the special program in foreign language and students' performance in reading comprehension. The data highlights that the effectiveness of foreign language instruction is closely linked to how well teachers implement the program, reinforcing the crucial role of structured and consistent program execution in enhancing students' reading abilities. Description Molecular hydrogen (H2) is increasingly recognized in biomedical science as a unique, selective antioxidant. Unlike conventional antioxidants, H2 selectively neutralizes cytotoxic oxygen radicals—specifically the hydroxyl radical (.OH) and peroxynitrite—thereby mitigating oxidative stress without interfering with essential signaling reactive oxygen species (ROS). Despite its significant therapeutic potential, a primary technical challenge persists: the generation of high-concentration, stable hydrogen-rich water (HRW) that maintains bioavailable properties for practical human consumption. This study details the design, fabrication, and performance evaluation of the WHITESTONE Phytoionic Hydrogen Infuser, a portable system engineered to optimize H2 dissolution and electrochemical stability. Utilizing a developmental-experimental research design, the prototype bridges the gap between conventional electrolysis and mineral-based catalysis by integrating food-grade titanium-platinum electrodes with a specialized phytoionic infusion chamber containing plant-based mineral catalysts to enhance ionization efficiency. The electrochemical system was operated under strictly controlled conditions, utilizing a direct-current (DC) range of 1.5–3.5 V and 0.5–2.0 A. Analytical procedures focused on quantifying dissolved hydrogen concentration, oxidation-reduction potential (ORP), pH stability, and electrochemical durability. Results demonstrated that the WHITESTONE Infuser successfully achieved dissolved molecular hydrogen (H2) concentrations ranging from 1,200 ppb to 1,550 ppb, significantly exceeding the minimum therapeutic threshold of 500 ppb typically cited in clinical literature. Crucially, the system produced a highly reductive environment, with ORP values measured between -440 mV and -530 mV, confirming its high antioxidant potential. A key finding was that the integration of phytoionic catalysts enhanced the ionization efficiency and provided superior gas-liquid phase stability compared to standard electrolysis units. Furthermore, the device maintained a slightly alkaline pH balance of 7.5–8.5, which is considered optimal for physiological homeostasis and oral consumption. The system demonstrated consistent operational safety and portability, fulfilling the requirements for sustainable, household-level preventive health technology. The hydrogen output aligns with the Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) classification by the FDA, as excess H2 is physiologically inert and excreted via the lungs. This framework establishes a robust technical basis for mineral-enhanced hydrogen infusion. However, while technical efficacy is established, further longitudinal clinical trials and toxicological assessments are required to validate specific therapeutic outcomes and ensure international regulatory compliance for commercial deployment.
